The Admin Control Panel
vqNow administrators may create and edit user accounts or view details of their client domains without sending forms to Vanquish. You should try this new control panel, because as soon as the very short Beta test ends, we will no longer be accepting support tickets to add every new user. (Well, maybe just to be nice - but wouldn't you rather enter users directly into the system instead of hollering to the engine room each time you need to change course?!)

• Your administrative account is {full_domain_name}@vqnow.com (e.g. mydomain.co.uk@vqnow.com)
  
• To receive your initial password, call during business hours (you may change it at any time).

Access the vqNow Control Panel

• Log in at www.vqnow.com with your Admin account name and password
  
• Near the top of the window, click "Domain Admin"
  
• Whenever you add a new address, review this quick check list
  Important: Refer the new user a link at the bottom of that page

Who is an Admin?
These accounts are for our resellers or the technical contact at companies that purchased from our web site. Resellers are welcome to turn over Admin Controls to their clients. If you do, please ensure that it is the proper IT person who has authority from the organization's owner or officers. This individual should be the same person who administers the user email accounts, because they will have access to the email security accounts of all users in their domain. They will also have the ability to create new accounts which may result in new fees for their company.

What Can an Admin Do?
Administrators can add users or aliases, delete users, and view the Preferences, Account Status and Lists of any user. You can also change a password, which is helpful if someone forgets - or to temporarily lock out an individual without losing preferences and Held Mail.

What Can't I Do?
Currently, the admin user has no "bulk add" for new addresses. You cannot view detailed traffic logs or change the delivery IP for your domain. Please submit a support ticket for these operations.

Notes:

• Each domain has it's own admin user account, even if several belong to one reseller or one end-customer.
  
• If you alias addresses from another registered domain, do not create the subordinate address in its domain admin area. Simply add it as an aliase to the superior username.
  
• Do not publish the admin account as an email address. It has no mail box. It is only for administration of your vqNow domains.
  
• The admin address does not reduce the maximum number of protected addresses that you purchased.
  
• Please avoid adding more user addresses than you have purchased. That would result in an unexpected invoice. Instead, contact us about expanding your account to accomodate the additional addresses.
