Add Additional Domains to a vqNow account

Question: Can vqNow be used to protect multiple domains?
Can I spread addresses across my domains to save money?

Answer: Yes. You can do both.

First, you may combine your total number of addresses at all domains to benefit from volume pricing. This results in significant savings if a domain has just a few addresses or if you need to grow a domain beyond the package originally purchased.

To combine the addresses from past purchases for your separate customers or domains, they must all be billed and paid as one account - and you must ask us to bring forward your prior subscriptions so that all addresses renew on the same day. There is no penalty for making your accounts coterminous. We will calculate the true prorated cost to syncrhonize your past purchases.

There is a cost associated with adding additional domains. At the time of this posting, additional domains add $50 (when purchased with a new account, it is rolled in with the setup fee). This is unrelated to the total number of paid addresses. It's fair to ask why we charge for addiong domains to vqNow...

The reason that we charge for additional domains - and not just for the total number of addresses - is because one of our biggest long-term costs is the volume associated with periodic dictionary attacks. These attacks create a system load that is proportional to the number of domains directed at our security servers. As the number of customer domains increases, we must increase the number of servers and the capacity of our pipes - simply becuase of the increased frequency and severity of multiple, simultaneous dictionary and denial of service attacks.

Every domain is targeted by a dictionary attack from time to time and the costs of our hardware and communications infrastructure is directly related to the number of domains that we protect and not the actual number of addresses.

Special Discount for Domain "Clones"
On the other hand, we offer an exceptional discount for 2nd or 3rd domains that are perfect email clones. For example:

fidelity.com and fidelity-investments.com
OR: 7-11.com and seven-eleven.com

but only if the two domains are 100% aliases. That is, they have the exact same email address list and delivery mailboxes. [Details]
