Outlook users accessing mail on an Exchange server may receive occasional emails sprinkled with HTML code. For example, here is an examples of the first few lines of a newletter from Macy's department store. The problem is caused by the anti-virus plug in the local Outlook email application. To circumvent the problem- click: Tools » Macros » Security.
- Select Add-ins on left panel
- At bottom, select Client Exchange Extensions from drop down and click GO.
- De-select AVG Exchange Extension and click Apply or Save
