In 2003 and early 2004, Vanquish was a software application that ran on a single PC. Users grew comfortable with the first truly effective anti-spam suite and they wonder why they should switch. In a nutshell, here are some compelling reasons:
The original program works only with Windows, has no Anti-Virus protection or Bayesian filtering, is limited to one PC, conflicts with some firewalls, delays large messages, does not include web mail, and requires users to install Java (a 16 MB download)! Finally, it does not coexist with Windows Vista or even XP Service Pack 2, until you run an additional update from Microsoft. If you need even more reasons to switch now, see the complete list of befefits.
...But our users are a fiercely loyal crowd. Some wish to continue with what they already know. For two years, we continued to support renewals of the original platform. But that product is outdated and risks the potential for incompatibility with newer products and services that must send and receive bonded mail. Most importantly, vqME looks and feels exactly like the original product. It offers dramatic benefit and yet there is nothing to learn.
If you are among the very last loyalists still using Vanquish Pro, the time to upgrade has come. Details are here. |
