How to suspend or close a vqNow account

Question: Is it difficult to suspend or close out a vqNow account?

Answer: Not at all. You can do any of the folllowing:

1. The easiest way to suspend vqNow is to simply mark the Bypass check box in each user accounts -- or do this for all accounts at once from the Admin account.

2.Even if you prerfer to route mail directly to your own mail sever, you needn't inform us when suspending your account temporarily. Simply point your MX Record directly to your own mail server or hosted mail service. That's all! When your ready to resume using vqNow, point it back to www.vqnow.com.

3.To cancel service completely (please don't do that), you only need to do these things:

• Change your MX record to whatever server or sevice you will be using
  
  
• Wait at least 36 hours and check your vqNow Held Mail one last time. Release any mail that you need. (each user should do this).
  
  Of course, if your new server is DIFFERENT than the one we have been delivering to you, tell us the mail server name or IP address so that we can deliver your final mail to the proper place.
  
  
• When you are cerrtain that you no longer need the account, you may add your comment to this ticket. We will delete the entire account and also wipe any backups of your lists and email. This will protect your privacy.

If you prefer to keep your account active, you may transfer the service to any other domain or organization. We will honor the balance of your account, but new domain conigurations incur the same one-time $50 setup fee that you paid at inception.
