Hi,
I have to say that these last days have been extremely disappointing to me. I have not been able to receive my email in a timely manner.
I use your service in my bussinees and I need my emails instantly... I'm experimenting delays around 4 hours.
I'm really thinking in turning off email forwarding for ever and return to delete all spam on my own without VQME. Your goal is GREAT but your service is poor at this time.
Thank you,
Gonzalo |

On the day that you posted this, we believe that all mail functions were remarkably fast and smooth. In fact, "Likity Split". If you are referring to the day that you posted this concern, please contact us by phone promptly. There may be something wrong with your account - either on your PC or on our server.
On the other hand, if you are referring to Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday, we agree that mail was unacceptably delayed - in some cases for hours. We scrambled to fend of a massive and distributed attack. Although we can usually shield users from the effects of these events, the sheer volume incoming messages this time (10,000 times normal) wrought havoc on delivery queues.
We anticipate that massive improvements to our capacity and infrastructure will go online during December. The increasing frequency of attacks has forced us to postpone these enhancements, but our engineers are confident that we are on track to a permanent solution.
If you own your own domain, you may interested in knowing that our small business platform, vqNow has never introduced any process delays. That's because it's architecture completely avoids inbound mail re-routing and even the local delivery queue. Clean email is delivered directly to your existing mailboxes at your ISP or hosted domain. See this tip for a comparison of vqME and vqNow. A link within this tips tells you about special pricing for small workgroups which brings the cost close to vqME. |
