During a recent software upgrade, vqNow and vqSA servers were accidentally loaded with a limit that is intended only for our vqME retail service. That limit permits a maximum of 10 aliases for any address. Neither vqNow or vqSA admins should have been subjected to the limit.
When you add more than 10 alises to any user address, you may find that sending mail to other protected addresses from a recently added alias returns this error message: | Quote: | | xxxxx@yyy.zz is not a protected address |
If this happens to you, or if you plan to add more than 10 aliases to any address from your control panel, please tell us. We will increase the limit for any address you wish - and without charge (subject to vqNow package).
During a future update, we will correct the default setting and remove the restriction for all addresses. |
