Question: vqNow worked briefly, but suddenly we receive no mail at any address
This problem was first observed at hosted email
clients of fnol.net, a subsidiary of 4domains.com

Cause of Problem
Now that your mail is routed through a security service, your hosted email service may notice that all incoing mail is arriving from just one or two mail servers even for senders in different parts of the world. This is easily ascertained by inspecting the email header. Their mail server may consider this concentration to be suspicious.

Your hosted email service may have added an crude antispam rule - perhaps unintentionally, during a server update. The rule blocks incoming mail from any IP addcress that is responsible for a high percentage of incoming mail. They make the assumption that if nearly all of your mail arrives from one source, it must be due to a spammer or "denial-of-service" attack. Of course, this rule conflicts with any "serial pipeline" security service, because it fails to account for proxies or authorized 3rd parties in the delivery chain.

Solution
If you own your own or control your own mail server, remove the rule that treats single-sourced IP addresses as suspect. Even better, list our mail servers on your server's list of trusted senders. The IP addresses are shown at the bottom of this tip.

If you use a hosted email service (for example the one provided by your web domain host), contact an empowered individual or file a technical support inquiry. Use this template or form your own request:

RE: Acct# xxxxxx yyyyyyyyyyy.com

Our security process routes mail through 1 or 2 IP addresses before arriving into our mailboxes. But your mail server is rejecting our incoming mail connectiong because mail appears to arrive from just one or two IP addresses.

Our email volume is a fraction of the former volume due to the security service. But your server is blocking based on the high percentage of mail routed through the security server. Please remove the rule that restricts this behavior. If possible, add these two addresses to your TRUSTED IP list. All of our mail arrives via these servers:

64.130.238.106 (vqnow.com) <-- vqSA owners: Substitute your vq-IP address
74.94.168.18 (web5.vanquish.com)
