Question Asked by Tom Thiel at Bearing Service
When I click a gray Control Stripe to remove or block a sender, I get this error message: | Quote: | Action Bar Event Handler -- Wrong Banner!
You appear to have clicked on the wrong banner. Perhaps you clicked on a banner that was included in a message reply? |
Answer: The error message has 2 causes:- As suggested in the message, you may be clicking on a Control Stripe that was not intended for you, but was part of a reply or forwarded message.
- When admin users occiasionally log into the accounts of other users, you should log BACK IN to your own account. Otherwise your SurfMatch data and your action events (clicking on a Control Stripe) will apply to the account of another user. Vanquish will remind you that you are attempting to do something in the wrong account. At that point, you can simply log back in with your own User ID and click again.
To completely avoid the problem, we recommend that vqSA and vqNow Admins use an alternate browser program (IE, FireFox, Opera, etc) when logging into the Admin account or any account that is not their own. When you click on a gray Control Stripe, it will take action only in the account that is opened with your default browser program.
