New Service Forces Spammers to Post Hefty Bonds to Send Mail

Spam foe Vanquish on Sept. 25 announced it has signed the first of five ISPs to beta test its bonded spam-stopping service. The company plans to begin testing with NetWay in Andover, Mass., and other small to mid-sized ISPs this month. Each service provider will supply 50 test e-mail accounts. An expanded beta with larger ISPs will begin in January, testing 400 users per ISP.
