Use vqME from multiple PCs

I want to access mail from multiple PCs - not just from a browser, but from my email program.
[This tip also applies to anyone RE-installing vqME for use with an existing account]

Should I download and run the vqME Install Wizard?
Should I use the same email program settings on all PCs?

1. vqME Install Wizard & Tray Assistant
The vqME Install Wizard and Tray Utility is optional. Even without this utility, you can send and receive mail with your favorite email program or with our free web mail service. The utility provides a quick way to access your Held Mail, Allow List and other anti-spam features. Most of these features are available from a web dashboard. But two features do require the Tray Assistant: An automated way to import your address book and the SurfMatch feature.

When prompted, click Run or Open. If your browser does not permit this, save the setup file to your Desktop and then double click on the icon to install. When prompted, indicate that you have an existing account (do not create a new one).

2. Configure Email Program Settings
To access mail from an email program (and not just from a vqME web page), you must configure your email program. Refer to either these quick summaries for Outlook & Outlook Express or for Eudora. Screen by screen instructions for most popular email programs are also shown here.

Important: When configuring email software in multiple PCs (for use with any service - not just vqME), the email program option "Leave Mail on Server" should be checked on all but your primary PC. That is, only one PC should be permitted to clean up the mail that you have read elswhere. This tip explains why. Alternatively, you could configure all of your PCs to use IMAP instead of POP. This way your mail is kept on our servers and is accessible from any of your PCs until you delete it.
